Vote for your Favorites!
The 47th District — home to the townships of Conewago, East Manchester, Hellam and Springettsbury, and the boroughs of Hallam, Manchester, Mount Wolf and Wrightsville — is a beautiful and vibrant community.
The community has submitted photos that represent the District’s rich history, natural beauty, and economic opportunities.
Public voting begins Aug. 4 and concludes Aug. 25, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Voters do not need to reside in the 47th District.
The photograph with the most “likes”/votes will win first place, followed by second and third place for the next highest “likes”/vote-earners.
How to vote for your favorite photos: Visit the Photo Album (URL to come on Aug. 4) and click “like” to cast a vote. You can cast a “like”/vote for as many of the photos in the album as you wish, but only one “like”/vote per person.
The same winner cannot win more than one award. Meaning, if the same winner earns the highest votes for both first and second place, winner will receive first place award and a different photographer with the next highest votes would be awarded second place.
If a tie results for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place we will host an additional short, final vote featuring only the tied photos. If a tie results again for any place, then a winner will be drawn at random using a random number generator.
Awards include:
| • | 1st place: A citation signed by Representative Joe D'Orsie, photo enlarged and framed in the District Office and a $40 gift certificate to Leg Up Farmers Market. |
| • | 2nd place: Your photo enlarged and framed in the District Office and a $25 Round the Clock Restaurant gift card. |
| • | 3rd place: Your photo enlarged and framed in the District Office and a $15 gift card to Maple Donuts. |
