Assistance for Veterans

To further assist the men and women who served our nation, as well as their spouses, my office hosts veterans’ outreach assistance with an official from the York County Veterans Affairs Office from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. Assistance provided includes help with compensation, pension, death benefits, education and health care, as well as issues pertaining to veterans benefits or the U.S. Veterans Administration. To set up an appointment, call my office at 717-840-4711.

The 47th District consists of part of YORK County consisting of the TOWNSHIPS of Conewago, East Manchester, Hellam, Manchester and Springettsbury (part) and the BOROUGHS of Hallam, Manchester, Mount Wolf and Wrightsville.

A comfortable majority of voters, and an even more lopsided majority of parents of school-age kids, support every form of educational choice here in the Commonwealth, from tax credit scholarships all the way up to universal choice.

D’Orsie Bill to Increase Penalty for Corruption of Minor Charges

HARRISBURG – Using a position of power to exploit the trust of a child is a serious crime that should come with serious consequences. That is why Rep. Joe D’Orsie (R-Manchester) introduced legislation to increase the grading of the corruption of a minor charge when the crime was perpetrated by someone in a position of authority.

D’Orsie Bill to Open Educational Pathways for All PA Students
